Mobility is a fundamental freedom recognised and protected by the European Union. The European Youth Forum believes that the right to mobility should be granted not only to EU-citizens, but to everyone. The freedom to move from one European country to another is a fundamental precondition for ensuring that young people can contribute to European integration and growth.

Unfortunately, the reality is far from being the ideal. Many youth workers are facing different problems in obtaining visas, which for many is a prerequisite for entering the EU. Therefore, the European Youth Forum and its Member Organisations have decided to raise awareness on the obstacles to youth mobility and to push for solutions, and as such, have launched the Campaign “GET VISAble”.
